The Governors and staff at Leybourne Ss Peter & Paul CE Primary Academy are continually looking at ways to develop and improve the school and we are proud of the welcoming and stimulating learning environment that we provide for our children. Carefully planned developments have already greatly enhanced the school building and facilities and offer pupils extended learning opportunities, for example through the introduction of the Woodland Learning programme, the replacement of the school ICT suite computers with laptops that the children can use in their classrooms, the further development of the school grounds as an outdoor learning environment and the adding to and upgrading of the reading books we offer the children.
We have a rolling programme to continue the development of our school and enhance learning and the development of healthy lifestyles even further. Unfortunately, as you may have heard in the press, schools have seen a significant reduction in funding over the last few years and we simply do not have the resources to pay for all such items from the school’s main budget. However, by collecting £30.00 per year per family as a voluntary donation to our School, we can make a real difference to the opportunities we are able to offer the children.
The School is a registered charity and we are therefore able to claim Gift Aid back from the Inland Revenue on eligible donations. So if you are a taxpayer, every pound donated by you is worth £1.25 to the school, making your donation go even further – it couldn’t be simpler, all you need do is tick the box!
You can make your donation online via Arbor, please find attached a slip to be completed and returned to school.
Many thanks for your continued support – it really is very much appreciated. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have further ideas about how we can use and develop the school voluntary contributions that we receive.
We have attached the Voluntary Contribution form and Gift Aid Declaration which can be downloaded should you need a copy to print out.
